last camp
This would most probably be my last camp with the outdoor company that I had worked in for the past 1 year or so. And they had to give me a challenging group to handle... Well, I'll take it as a compliment that they believe in my ability to handle such a group.
They are the 'C' Division Netball girls from RVSS. At the beginning, they're all quite and none of them are willing to take the lead. Everyone's just playing the waiting game. As we went along, everyone began to open up and shared and talked... Ahhh... the power of facilitation.
I suppose this is the very energy that had kept me going in doing all these camps. Seeing that these people come and begin to open up and see a new side of themselves and their close friends. I hope that they will all remember the expereince that they had together, and that this may be a life-changing moment for some of them...
