oh my sole
Took up rock climbing level one under the outdoor company.Raymond is our instructor. Well, I heard lots about him and his travels everywhere and now, having the know him personally, it's a previledge.
We did the course at DFAC and boy, that wall is tough! After Raymond had shown us some climbing techniques, we tried it on our own and indeed it was easier (or at least less straining). But I still couldn't get pass the fifth panel. Augh! too short? I don't know.. But I'll attempt to try again if I have the chance.
You should try to get the appropriate shoes for the activity, it will make a difference in your performance. Anyway, what's climbing without climbing shoes?
Well, I wore my old basketball shoes there as the sole is thinner. But you know what? After I left DFAC to meet M, the soles came flaking off... So much for my S$100 per side basketball shoes... :O)
